It’s new, it’s South African, and it’s taking the specialty beverage market by storm. Known as red espresso®, it is a premium espresso ground rooibos tea that’s produced under patent for use in a coffee espresso machine.

What’s more, it’s so good in fact, that red espresso® has just won ‘Best New Product’ in the specialty beverage category at the world’s largest coffee show, the Specialty Coffee Association of America's 20th Annual Conference & Exhibition, held in Minneapolis from 2 - 5 May 2008.

red espresso® is the first tea to play by coffee’s rules. It is 100% premium Rooibos tea uniquely cut to perform like espresso-ground coffee. To make the red drinks, simply prepare red espresso® in a home espresso machine, coffee plunger, filter machine or percolator, or even a stovetop moka pot. Add milk froth to make the red cappuccino®.  Pour over ice and apple juice to make the fresh red™ - and serve in a pitcher for the family, or in a cocktail glass for delicious, healthy refreshment.
