Staffords Press Releases Stafford Bros & Draeger, making the world’s finest foods available in South Africa, have been appointed as national distributor of the Bandito’s Chile Co. range of seriously addictive chilli products. Stafford Bros & Draeger date back to 1921 and today operates throughout southern Africa. The company warehouses products in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth, Durban and Bloemfontein. It’s sales and merchandising teams service all major supermarket chains, cash and carries, wholesalers and food-service outlets. Bandito’s Chile Co is a family business that since its launch in 1994 has grown from a cottage industry into an international company. The first product was based on a chakalaka recipe from Zululand and found its way to consumers through flea markets. Today, the Bandito’s range is popular in Australia, Europe, the British Isles, New Zealand, Canada, Japan and the USA. One of the Bandito’s unique selling propositions is that the products are all 100% natural and made of fresh ingredients with no artificial colorants, flavourings or preservatives. Stafford Bros & Draeger will distribute the entire Bandito's range, which consists of three chilli-vegetable relishes, six hot sauces, a cook-and-braai sauce, pickled jalapeno peppers, mild salsa, nachos and tortillas. The products have halaal and kosher accreditation and have won numerous awards. “We are proud to be associated with such a fine company,” says Christopher Lewis-Enright, Stafford Bros & Draeger managing director. “Bandito’s Chile Co is a JCCI Exporter of the Year winner and has been part of the DTI’s South African National Pavilion at various international food shows.”
